BTEC Dance Primary Project - March 2017

BTEC dancers from Looe Community Trust and the young dancers of Looe Primary school, came together to present and celebrate their hard work through a dance performance.

They performed in the school playground in an afternoon in March. Parents, carers, friends of the school and other year groups were invited to watch the performance.

The audience were treated to an array of brightly coloured costumes and Tudor music to help set the atmosphere. The cast of 40 performed alongside each other, whilst also showing off their confidence by performing in duets and smaller groups.

The piece was opened by the BTEC dancers who performed a piece of choreography that had been created for them by Rob Mennear, a local professional dance artist. The dancers demonstrated skill, technique and presented their work with a real sense of performance and professionalism.

The whole performance was a great success.
